My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Frederick in a premium king room, and we really enjoyed it. While the room was small, it was a good size for such a good location in NYC. It was very hot out while we were there, but the air conditioning unit was extremely effective. The robes and slippers in the room were also a nice comforting touch. Our breakfast at Serafina was very good as well. I have celiac disease, and I was very happy to see they had gluten-free bread that was separately wrapped, as well as other options made without gluten. Needless to say, the location was great, especially as there is a subway stop to the 1, 2, and 3 trains just steps from the front door. Would highly recommend staying here!

Location is great if you need to be in Wall St area. Hotel and room are dated - pretty obviously in need of updates. Only one elevator working for an 8-story building. Depending on price you pay per night, just okay.

I think the shower had mold ( underneath the tiles) and the room was never cleaned. I had to ask twice to get it cleaned in a 5 day stay and I had to constantly ask for more towels. I felt like I was staying in a dorm for 350 a night. I would not go back again. The only good thing was the location and it was quiet.

Room was clean, very small, but clean.
