"The quality of service, has deteriorated considerably especially in front desk. The restaurant service was never good in this hotel, starting from the two lady hosts in the morning, waiters who are far from caring, absolutely indifferent and unhappy people waiters ( one time they brought me another food, something I did not order ). On the other hand, they have an impeccable house keeping service. The hotel, rooms, location all are very very good. "

"The Plaza is of course iconic. The building is very old so not everything is spotless. Old curtains get stuck; light interruptors sometimes fail, etc. The staff is not the most friendly - they have some attitude. But if you show the money, you can have the time of your life. Still a great experience. "

"Staff was amazing. From check in to check out, the front desk, doormen, and concierge were uniformly polite, friendly, and helpful. Only (very small) glitch was being seated by the kitchen for brunch. Our bad for not making reservations. Just seems that hotel guests should get better tables especially when many tables were empty. "

"Expensive but worth it. Two adults & 2 younger kids. We got a one bedroom suite that was HUGE. Most of the reasonably priced rooms in the city are the size of shoe boxes. NOTE: though they list that the room sleeps 4 , it doesn’t without rollaways. But the rooms are so big that the rollaways fit no problem. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet-never heard neighbors above, below, or to the sides. Usual NYC noise on the street at all hours but not bad with a white noise machine. Ask for a higher...

"A nice, quiet room. Stylish. I would say that the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent - i had to ask for a refill of toilet paper and a set of wash clothes after the room was cleaned. Also, the floors of my room were not clean. But I would stay again for sure! "
