"Originally booked a room facing the lake. (Which we were excited about, since it was our 1st ever visit to NYC). Upon arrival they let us know that they had "maintenance issues" with our room and sent us to a different room. What a bummer.. Everything else was great! 5 stars for allowing visitors to check their bags in while they explore! (dont forget to tip those gentlemen) they were great! Clean hotel, friendly, and worth staying"

"Location is amazing, hotel had a great vibe…but it does not seem loved and for me to love it, I gotta know the staff and ownership group loves it. They offer coffee in the mornings near the lobby. The label on the coffee jugs was literally mispelled. The set up was a bit careless and gas station like. Much inferior to the Fairlfield Inn, who offers flavored creamer…in the end, it’s a gorgeous property, nice staff, but felt like zero pride and ownership. Everything seemed a bit not cared for. Baseboards on beds were peeling, towel racks were cheap, and like I said, the “cofee” situation was sad. Don’t let this hotel go. The vibes are there! The location is great. Love on it, and people will love you back!"

"Great staff, trendy and efficient rooms, convenient and comfortable Alphabet Bar. Great stay and accessible to Midtown, Lower Manhattan, and of course East and Greenwich Villages. Wish the bathroom had a private door, that’s the only thing I’d change."
