Everything and everyone there was amazing. The ONLY thing I would suggest is that they pony up for some soft sheets and pillowcases. Shockingly stiff and uncomfortable. We resorted to wrapping our pillow with a t-shirt.

Beautiful setting. Upgraded to a lovely old cottage - large room, direct access to garden, elegant decor, big bathroom , first rate a/c.
Excellent poolside restaurant, quality breakfast in sunken grotto.
Secure underground onsite parking.
Only minus was lack of lighting in room - only 2 bedside lights - other main light switched off after a few seconds, no way to keep it on.

The breakfast and the team down in the breakfast room made it a 5 star experience, great coffee and great spread of Italian goodies. Mostly cold food but hot dishes. There is a lovely little outside area to enjoy one of best hotel breakfasts i had in a while.
The receptionist on arrival was functional rather than Friendly and when I wanted to ask a quick query they prioritiesed a telephone. I had single room, narrow bed and near the elevators so some noise coming into the room. So breakfast team overall made this a good experience. The waiter is a comedian
