Amazing staff. I believe his name was Ambrose? He really took care of us for my wife’s 35th bday. That man deserves a raise. But overall, first time staying here. Do not let the bad reviews fool you. Yes, there is construction ongoing but its quite literally just right by the front restaurant. Not loud at all either they stop working at night. Pool area is clean, jacuzzi area is hot. Beach right outside the hotel is rocky so wear water shoes. Room is beautiful, and all staff has just been extremely friendly. We will be back!!

Overall clean but for luxury, minor details could be attended to. Like chaulk in bathroom(moldy or soap residue), plants look sick in the hallway of the club rooms, could use bug repellent plants, as the gnats and mosquitoes were rampant). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amenities were great as well.

Overall, a comfortable and clean stay. Staff was professional and very friendly. The rooms are dated and worn. Saw some paint chipped off doors and walls. Scuffs all around. The hotel was undergoing renovations so maybe they will address the wear and tear of the rooms at some point. Saw some other complaints about the noise coming from Dukes, but it didn’t bother us and noise was over by the time we went to bed. Dukes sounded like a fun time! Despite the wear and tear, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the amenities and location. We would definitely recommend!

This hotel is amazing. Very pricey but the property and service is impeccable. Orchids and La Mer are fantastic restaurants. Coconut Cake is a must. You have got to eat at Orchids for breakfast seaside at Waikiki. Bar service and drinks are unique and delicious. Every staff member down to the lawn guys were friendly, made eye contact, and said hello. Concierge is excellent. If you like high tea in the afternoon I highly recommend

HIGHLY recommend! From start to finish - this was a wonderful place to stay. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was great (historic wing), and amenities were perfect. What we loved best is that in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, with all of its towering hotels, traffic, people, the Royal Hawaiian was an oasis. The ageless gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and you don't hear any of the outside noise of the city. We loved it for our Anniversarymoon, and hope to go back again!!

Clean rooms the guys at valet parking were very very nice and accommodating the service the help was very nice willing to do whatever go beyond a duty I enjoyed my vacation I will come again and stay with them
