"Love this hotel for the friendly staff, the included breakfast, the convenience to the beach and the huge rooms! We stay every 6 months and have always had an amazing vacation. The staff go out of their way to ensure we are taken care of and happy and truly appreciate our repeat business. Rooms are very large (specialty rooms) and always very clean. This hotel is walking distance to most anything you need, or a bus/trolley ride away."

"Our room was in the recently renovated Rainbow Tower and it was very nice. The extra touch’s, like the hooks for hanging every day items, the long dresser with Lots of storage, and the extra shelves above the fridge were very helpful for a long stay. Housekeeping was very friendly and thorough. It was a VERY busy hotel. And For as much as we were paying for valet…the guys were not very kind. One of them swore at my husband when he drove up to pick me up in the driveway…but there is chaos and no clear area to pick up passengers without doing valet parking. It doesn’t exist. We tried to utilize the side for taxis and got yelled at as well. If it’s going to be so strict, there needs to be clarity on where people can drive cars up to load/unload, etc. "

"It wasn’t clear to us that most of the hotel was under construction when we booked. It just said that the fitness center was unavailable due to renovation. We also expected to be able to use the self service laundry, and that was also unavailable. We were just below the renovations happening on rooms up above and the mode was deafening starting pretty early. We love this hotel and stay every time we come to Hawaii, but I do feel that there should be some informing of the hotel being mostly shutdown or closed off for renovations, in addition to the disruption of any peace. I understand it’s got to happen though. We still had a wonderful time. Love this stretch of beach. The staff at the cabana stand on the beach are friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper Wendy was very kind and friendly. Valet guys have always been very great."

"Room spacious and clean, very comfortable bed, nice robes to use, complimentary beach bag. Staff very helpful, able to book late check out at extra cost. Lovely beach, a bit crowded, pool and poolside quite busy. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Overall enjoyable stay."
