This place is going under a huge refurbishment which I didn’t know about until I turned up.
The reception staff were pleasant. The rest of my interactions with staff were lukewarm at best.
I had a leak in my room which started at midnight. Unfortunately a lot of water leaked onto my clothes. I transferred to another “upgraded” room which was the same of not worse. The toilet didn’t flush in this one. I asked if I could use the laundry service to clean the clothes that were soaking wet but was told that there was no laundry service.
If you’re parking your car it’s £60 a day.
I am used to very good hotel experiences on the whole. This one was very disappointing.

Good place to be for the eclipse because of the atrium and staff loaning us special glasses! The hotel is showing its age a bit, but still a very good airport hotel.
