"Let me just say that the reason this place even got one star, is solely based on a few wonderful people that worked at this hotel. If it wasn’t for them I would have demanded my money back and moved to a different hotel.
When booking a room in the beginning of the summer, and when the temperature is above 30c, AC was a must.
In the lobby it was a perfect temperature, but when we took the elevator up and the door opened it was so warm, and when we opened the door to our room it was even worse.
I’m traveling a lot, and I cannot understand how this hotel got the reviews it did, it is beyond me.
We met some very lovely people, the concierge service was marvellous and the lovely lady in the breakfast section that remembered your daily order was 10/10, they make the hotel seem far better than it is. However, we called prior to our stay, and talk to a rude lady at the reception. We met the same lady when we checked in, service was the same.. I can not understand how the different in service levels at the same hotel can vary from 0 to 10?
The people at the concierge and the people working in the breakfast section should share their secret, cause it’s amazing.
The room was clean, but so out of date. Problems with the showers, not able to turn the heat of in the bathroom and the “AC”? There was nothing but high sound and no cold air. On top of that the windows couldn’t be opened, and I was so hot and humid and it was cooler outside. So unpleasant.
I will never, ever go back."
