We love going to Old Salem and stepping back in time to talk with the costumed re-enacters and get a hot apple cider at the muddy creek cafe on site. A lovely antidote to the commercialism of the holidays.

I always have a good time when coming to Winston-Salem. My daughter's 4 years in school here have been pleasant and I have always felt safe staying in the various hotels and also felt my daughter was safe on WSSU's campus.

Winston Salem is a beautiful area and extremely clean and seems really safe. We've stayed downtown and we've stayed near Haines Mall. Our son moved here and we feel very comfortable where his safety is concerned.

We enjoyed the historic area, but from the view on the interstates, they have a littering problem that needs addressed.
"It took a long time to check in. Rose. Won’t really have to go check and see if the roads red was disconnected. Call the service never came. We had to figure it out ourselves. Last day there."
"We traveled in town for a wedding and to celebrate our anniversary. The checkin procedure was quick and the staff I worked with were very friendly. Our room was on the top floor with beautiful views of the city!"
