"Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. The glass doors that accordion open to the deck let you fully immerse yourself in that view. Six of us (three couples) enjoyed the house immensely. The only thing to note is the bathroom...

"This was a one bedroom studio apartment. The condition of the apartment was not great. The apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator - about which we are not informed about at the time of booking. Imagine carrying 4 suitcases to the 4th floor. The appartment gets direct sun and there were no fans. It got very very hot in the day time. This apartment is built in attic and we kept on bumping our heads. Avoid this place, if you can."

"This chalet was a perfect basecamp for traveling the Interlaken region. It is within a 20-minute walk of a major train station and the bus is one minute from the front door. My husband and I adored the small village where it is located. It was amazing to stay in a small and quiet location and easily get to the busier city of Interlaken. "The views are incredible. I would come again & highly recommend it, however I was unaware that the hotel & entire town are not accessible by car. One must park in the valley below ( Lauterbrunnen) and take a train up to the town. Parking is about 9 Euros a calendar day (so an overnight stay costs 18 Euros) and the train which leaves every 30 min costs 7.50 Euros p/p one way. The hotel is a walk uphill from the train station, but there is a hotel shuttle (another fact we were unaware of ) that...
