"Since it was summer, the warmer temperatures meant that we had to open the windows to allow air to circulate and keep the room comfortable. This unfortunately also meant that noise from the surrounding areas was more noticeable.
One thing we could have done differently was request a fan earlier. We only learned that fans were available and requested one on our last night, so we were unaware of this option during the earlier part of our stay.
Our room was adjacent to the restaurant and cafeteria. Although these areas were closed, some guests continued to sit in the eating area and chat until around midnight. We found the noise quite disruptive, especially when we were trying to sleep. We had assumed that 10 p.m. would generally be considered a reasonable time for quiet hours.
As a suggestion, the hotel may wish to consider implementing a clear quiet-hours policy after 10 p.m., particularly for common areas located near guest rooms. A gentle reminder to guests to keep conversations and noise to a minimum after 10 p.m. would help create a more comfortable and restful environment for everyone.
Overall, we appreciate the efforts of the hotel and hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests."
