Top Wellington Hotel Reviews

Sofitel Wellington

Sofitel Wellington

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Wellington and honestly couldn't fault it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt polished, comfortable and just a little bit special. The room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, and the whole hotel has that lovely sense of understated luxury without feeling stuffy or pretentious. The staff were excellent — friendly, professional and genuinely attentive. We particularly loved the little touches that made the stay feel special, including the evening turn-down service and the unexpected chamomile tea and chocolates. Those small details really do make a difference. We had cocktails and fish and chips at La Serre before taking a walk down to the harbour, which made for a perfect Wellington evening. The hotel is also wonderfully located for exploring the waterfront and central Wellington. What I loved most was that Sofitel didn't just feel like somewhere we slept while visiting Wellington. The hotel itself became part of the experience. It felt like a proper little luxury escape. We came home feeling completely relaxed and already talking about when we could come back. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended. ❤️"
