"Everything was very good apart from the fact that there is no elevator and contacting the hotel, by phone, seems to be only when the restaurant is open.
Overall we would recommend this hotel."
"This is a very good hotel, location, price, service, excellent restaurant and amenities. Close to the train station and to the center of town. Stay there if you travel to Cardiff."
"The breakfast was absolutely delightful. Every morning we looked forward to a tasty, freshly cooked meal.
The bed was comfortable, and we were upgraded to a super king bed which was absolutely fantastic!
Would highly recommend this hotel!"
"Super friendly staff, especially Patrick. Close to the train station [10 min walk].
Was a cheap, simple and basic room. Air-con unit was leaking and the surrounding carpet was damp."
Lowest nightly price found within the past 24 hours based on a 1 night stay for 2 adults. Prices and availability subject to change. Additional terms may apply.
"Did not like that our room on the third floor after getting off the lift required humping bags down two albeit short flights of stairs.
Liked that there were lots of towels and that they let us drop our luggage until check in and again after noon check out (very civilized)
It's a great location right next to Cardiff Central station so getting here and then getting to the airport was simple"
"The family room was good, although the sofa bed is a little narrow for two teenagers. We had two nights in another budget chain prior to arriving at the Novotel, where they provide two single fold-up beds which we found to be a much better arrangement amd more comfortable for the children.
The room was clean. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are excellent and were very welcome.
The food in the restaurant was good, only the service being a little slow let it down.
We thought the hotel parking at £24 for the day was expensive, until looking at the local multi-story alternatives that were £31 a day?! There are a few spaces on the road outside that are free between 18:00-08:00 that you can take advantage of.
We would definitely stay there again."
"Bernadette at the reception was very helpful and professional. Even the staff in the carpark as well as the male staff doing the maintenance at the lift lobby were very friendly. The bathroom was sparkling clean, no complaints at all."
"The breakfast was absolutely delightful. Every morning we looked forward to a tasty, freshly cooked meal.
The bed was comfortable, and we were upgraded to a super king bed which was absolutely fantastic!
Would highly recommend this hotel!"
