「I embrace historic charm and quirkiness; what I don’t like are doors to bathrooms and bedrooms that don’t shut properly and lack of cleaning.
The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. The door to the bedroom could not be properly closed and there was no lock. I’m not sure why this couldn’t be rectified as the door frames seemed relatively new and...

「The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!」

「Mani was an excellent host, very professional and passionate about the property. We stay in the annex rooms as visit a wedding near by. Room was modern, clean and beds very comfortable. Felt very spoilt as such a personal feel to the venue. Would defiantly return if going back to the area. Am also thinking about organising a stay in the middle not house for our local football team tour for boys.

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」
