The only negative feedback is that the Pizzas were not very nice however all the other food was absolutely amazing so please don't take this feedback the wrong way. "We had a relaxing couple of days. The staff were first class. Our room was clean & spacious with a lovely double kingsize bed. The service was spot on the food was of good quality,fresh & local I believe.the spa facilities are good and inclusive with extra treatments available for a fee. We came away from there feeling relaxed & refreshed. Would we go back…yes Would we recommend…yes Is there room for improvement..if there is, not by much."

"Fantastic breakfast, pool and spa facilities amazing. Restaurant compared to hotel I would have expected more, food was very average but the breakfast they serve is wonderful so doesn’t quite make sense. Rooms are wonderful and everything you need and spa bath is so relaxing. My 4th visit to hotel so always love it but Restaurant needs work."

"My first stay at Rothay Garth and the friendly staff - Joanna - made the experience more delightful. Finding the location via car GPS was intriguing. It said the location was on the left when the actual address is on the right side a little further down from the GPS indication. After making couple of rounds we found it and glad there was parking was available. Overall, Ambleside is a perfect location as a base to visit the lakes district and Rothay Garth was an excellent choice."
