「Everything was top notch from communication to amenities」

「Our cabin was not at all what we saw in photos. We ended up very close to the hwy, no view of the lake. The cabin was very old and in rough shape. Furniture inside was broken and worse for wear. I would say this was a VERY rustic place to stay. We saw a mouse running around in the kitchen, windows were hard to open and kind of broken - cabin smelled of air fresheners. Cabin was NOT very clean, bugs running around in the evening. Nice dock area but the owners live on site and are always around...

「They changed us $60 more when we arrived to the hotel. The price was 168 with taxes on Expedia when we booked it, while the hotel charges about $60 extra when we arrived. If we knew this we wouldn’t have booked it for this high price and chooses less expensive at same level. Extremely disappointed ☹️」

「Older property but clean」

「It is an inn on the Muskoka River and many of the rooms have a water view and many have a balcony. There is an Italian restaurant connected to the inn. And a large deck overlooking the water and you can watch the boats go by as you listen to the sound of the falls in the background. Feels like you are at a cottage. Very quiet - at a dead end street. Loved it and will come back when I can stay longer. Staff very nice and helpful .」
