「Worst hotel experience ever. The lack of basics like a dresser or a table or a closet. And you can't put your things on the floor because the portable AC unit in the room is causing a puddle in the carpet. If you try hanging your stuff on the little command hooks on the walls, they'll fall and take a chunk of drywall with them. There was a TV but no remote. There was trash under the bed. The decorations on the wall were damaged. No fridge, so bring a cooler, but be prepared to haul it up 3...

「Just got home from a 3 night stay. Super clean, modern and thoughtful, this boutique motel is perfect for a trip to Gravenhurst. While we never actually spoke to a staff member in person, they were really responsive on text and provided us with more than enough info before check-in that we really didn't need anything from them during our stay. We didn't use the hot tub or spa, but enjoyed the lovely seating areas out front while we had our morning coffee. Added bonus - the Frosty Pint Pub...

「This place was a solid 4 stars, though the beautiful grounds, beach, and scenery deserve 5 stars. This is a heritage property and though there is a dated feeling to the furnishings, we found it gave a charming atmosphere and a nice throwback as a rustic northern resort. The cottages and rooms are simple and not modern, but the cost of staying here is pretty reasonable for such a spectacular location on the breathtaking Lake Joe. Other places nearby would have been $500 more for our 3 night stay....
