Extremely bad service since the minute we checked in. Tried to give the staff all the passports (4) when checked in but then staff was kind of not pleasant telling me she only need one. When I put away all the rest, she asked for the rest again. Checked out time is 10 am; earlier than most other hotel. We left at 11 am and they charged us $11,500 yen for extra hour. We asked the staff to help ordering a larger taxi for 4 people with luggage, staff refused to do so saying we needed 2 taxi. We took one taxi from Osaka to Mimaru Hotel and it could fit all of us with luggage. Staff are unpleasant, not willing to help. I will not recommend this hotel for any family! I went to different Mimaru in Osaka and Tokyo with way better service!!! If you want to enjoy your trip and have a pleasant time, do not consider this hotel!!!!

Stayed for 9 nights and loved the location, amenities and room. We are a family of 3 and did get a room for 6, which was perfect. (Not sure how 6 would Go, maybe 5! The location was fabulous with Ueno Okachimachi literally 2min walk. Food galore surrounding the hotel. Lovley stay.
