「Great Smart TV, comfy bed, friendly staff, breakfast fairly good value」

「Room lacked sufficient wardrobe facilities. Many options for breakfast. Three course evening meal was not rushed - 2 hours」

「Everything and everyone at The Baiting House is almost perfect. The hot tub was clean and hot, the lodge was clean but too warm! The bed comfy and the facilities adequate. Could have done with a little more privacy around the hot tub. Some people were walking their dog off lead and it wasn’t controlled and worried our dog but other than that all was good. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was delicious. Could not have asked for better. Will be returning as soon as possible! 」

「Lovely room. Very clean and it was great having fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived. We ate and drank at the pub too and that had a great atmosphere. The location was great - great right in the middle of Ludlow. Only downside was that you could hear people sitting in the garden of the pub until 11pm. This wasn’t a problem for us but might be for some people 」

「This hotel has bags of character and is a refreshing change from the likes of Premier Inn. If you don't like creaky floors and things not being level, then this place is not for you! But if you want a warm, comfortable place to rest your head in the middle of the town with friendly staff and great food, then look no further」

「Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend」

「Nice place. They mean it when they say limited housekeeping as you're expected to sort all trash, wash out containers, & put them in their appropriate recycling bins. If you don't like country or narrow roads this isn't the place for you but I live in the country so didn't bother me except for the really narrow badly kept roads. They only supply 1 key & you have to use it to even lock yourself in so if others in your party leave you're left with being locked in & not being able to get out or...

「The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! 」
