「We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

「This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

「Meal was lovely, unfortunately no breakfast, or suggestions where to go. Room great,lots of lights, room, comfortable and great clean bedding. Nice big mirror in the bedroom too. Towels nice white and fluffy. Only negative is the noice from the road through the night, could do with improved glazing as it’s a main route for trucks 」
「Fatastic hotel and our room and ensuite was lovely, my only issue was the mattress was rather noisy. Breakfast was lovely but please try either Linda McCartney or Cauldren veggie sausages as even meat eaters love them. If we're ever in the area again we'll definately stay at The Blue Boar. The staff were lovely too.」
