The breakfast was handy and very well stocked. Nice to see a Chef for breakfast actually cooking eggs to order . The bar was a nice relaxing service and the barman was helpful and polite
Everyone was very friendly and happy to help during the stay .Location very central for everything
The rooms are modern and clean, and breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. The staff was friendly and professional. Parking is expensive, but it's central Cambridge, so it's expected. My only complaint is that king executive rooms have tiny bathrooms.
The hotel I felt had a “corporate” feel to it. It was comfortable, but lacked charm. This was perhaps exacerbated by building repairs taking place impacting the reception and breakfast areas. The location is excellent and the rooms comfortable and clean. Staff were generally great - polite and professional. Exception to this were the bar staff, who did not seem particularly interested in serving. Valet parking service was excellent albeit at £35. Having visited Cambridge on many occasions, parking is fiendishly expensive and against this context, I felt it to be a good deal.
Was in Cambridge for a gig at the corn exchange and the hotel was the perfect location- Just a 3 minute walk!
Hotel overall great - Room was good, staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
Really great location to explore Cambridge by foot. Opted for Executive room and staff in Executive lunge were very helpful wiht my wife's no-gluten diet. Consierge helpful in recommending places to go and booking punting tips for us. Hop-on-off tour bus stop right outside.
The hotel is in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the Cambridge Colleges and activities such as punting on the cam. The rooms were fairly basic and lacked a fridge or mini-bar. Ice dispensers in the hallways though. Good quality shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and conditioner in the bathroom. We were on the 4th (top) floor and so shower pressure wasn’t the best. There was effective air conditioning in the room during a heatwave. The breakfast buffet was excellent quality with a great range of foods available and great value. We chose the hotel because they allowed our dog to stay with us. We would stay there again.
