"The resort is really great, generally plenty of pool and beach chairs, really good food and drinks, clean, etc. For our stay they were filming a movie and one of the pools was shut down for part of it which was a little inconvenience."

"The room was generally well presented; however, we found short black hairs in the sink and on the shower walls, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. There was also debris on the floor when we arrived. The pool area was not stocked with towels as expected, which was inconvenient. The hotel is very close to the airport, so airplane noise is noticeable at all hours. Overall, it wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed, and I would consider returning given the price."

"Staff was immediately so welcoming. We arrived 2 hours before checkout and they took the time to speed up the process. We told them there was no rush but 15 minutes later the room was ready. They even upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Housekeeping did a great job and were very respectful, kind, and helpful. Pool was the perfect temp and the beach is literally at the bottom of a set of stairs after the pool. The view-I was speechless. We watched dolphins from the balcony of our room in the morning! Would definitely recommend and visit again! "

"Hôtel and staff were meh. Had a 4 person reservation and I kept having to chase down housekeeping for additional 2 towels as there were only 2 towels provided, happened again for 2nd night. "

"This property needs TLC the furniture in room was old and falling apart. The beds were neat and clean. You have to pay to use the beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach… The pool was nice."

"Had a two night stay with friends… the beach is perfect and enjoyed umbrellas and chairs provided by the resort. Bars were on point and attended to me quickly. Room was spacious and well done and clean. The only negative thing I can say is we had thunder feet above us on the 2nd floor."

"We really enjoyed our vacation at Tradewinds. The rooms were definitely outdated as was the resort itself, the staff was absolutely awesome, the towel system was awesome, the pools are old but do the trick. The beach was the star … absolutely perfect place right on St. Pete’s beach. All in all a great trip! "
