"The Code hotel is perfectly located near downtown Austin on South Lamar. It looks like an apartment building so we had a difficult time recognizing it as a hotel. We booked this hotel for an overnight stay while we helped our daughter move in. The unit was basically a small one bedroom apartment. There was a beautiful living room and kitchen. The bedroom was comfy, the bathroom was huge and there was a walk in closet with a washer and dryer. Everything was brand new. There was a balcony overlooking a beautiful outdoor space and a pool. I am sure there is a fantastic fitness facility and many other perks but we were not there long enough to know. This is a beautiful "hotel" is more more like an upscale extended stay condo and would perfect for a longer stay in Austin for work or play. Only difficulty we had happened when we checked in after 11pm. The gates to the parking lot were locked and only open with an access key. So, we had to call the hotel manager to come down and let us in... and the parking garage is very tight so parking a big truck was tricky."
