「I was very disappointed that the on-site restaurant was closed on my overnight stay. I expected it to be open so I could just check in and go upstairs to eat. The front desk said they were not enough people to staff the kitchen. That’s why it was closed. I wound up driving 10 minutes away for a mediocre meal. I have eaten at the Placery in other Hyatt and it was excellent, so I was disappointed that this one did not have an opened restaurant.」

「It needs just a little extra upgrade. The tv kept going out and the fridge wasn’t working. But the front desk staff were amazing. 」

「This property was by far the absolute nastiest and poorly kept place I have ever stayed at. The room stunk terribly to the point that my daughter sprayed her perfume in the room to make it somewhat bearable. The floors were filthy, sheets and covers had stains on them and the bed when we pulled it down had short black hairs all over it. We brushed it off best we could in an attempt to at least try to sleep. Bathroom door was broken and would not latch. But the absolutely awful stench in the room...

「Very nice staff, especially at breakfast. The room is spotlessly clean. Great beds. Only gripes were the incredibly loud ac unit outside and the hotel was very expensive for what it was. But supply and demand I guess. It was a busy weekend in Richmond 」

「There what looked like makeup splatter on a mirror. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Nothing but a tiny ass bar of soap to clean with. The tv didn’t work. Staff was super quiet and first impressions wasn’t pleasant. Real worry for bedbugs with how poorly this place is handled. Won’t be staying there ever again, and I’m used to roach motels. This one sucked.」

「Room was terrible! The furniture has cigarette burns and the cabinets had missing hardware. Smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, there was also an outlet hanging out of the wall. Hairdryer had melted. The refrigerator had leaked and ruined my leftovers. And the last straw was when I was going to shower and it had grime all over it. I was going to try and at least stay one night. But the thought of them not properly cleaning the room worried I would be sleeping with bed bugs」
