「This old 1880s era manor is absolutely beautiful. It was amazing to stay in a place with such history and character. Proprietors Tim and Jennifer were amazing. Very friendly, breakfast was wonderful, bed was nice, huge bathroom (Peace Suite). Close to historic downtown Dundee but far enough away to be in rural paradise. 100% recommend. Will be back」

「My room was large and comfortable with a queen bed, large en-suite bathroom and a computer desk. I also had access to a full kitchen. The house is conveniently located and easy to find.」

「So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. 「いかにもアメリカっぽい、ゆとりあるB&Bという感じで、広い空間でゆったりくつろげます。とにかくすばらしかったのは朝食、前夜にオーダーを出し、8時か9時かの選択肢で、ちゃんとしたダイニングテーブルに着席、滞在客同士交流する雰囲気でした。（とくに感動したのは、アップルシナモン。手作りでおいしかったです） バスタブなし・シャワーのみで、シャワーもアメリカだとよくある曇りガラスで囲った空間なのは、慣れていない人は戸惑うかもしれません。 チェックインの時間が限定的、また朝食の時間も決まっていますが、それが気にならなければ、昔から広い敷地に住んでいる家族のあたたかさが伝わります。古いけれど清潔でメンテナンスが行き届いている感じです。 ミシガン大学セントラル・キャンパスから徒歩25分、車がなくてもなんとかなります。バスやuberも使えます。」
