"What a fabulous place to stay! I've been coming to South Lake Tahoe for many many years and I never knew this place existed! The rooms are fabulous - I had a room with a small balcony, not much of a view, but still nice to be able to go outside. The courtyard area and restaurant on-site were amazing. Live music, a firepit, beer, friends... loved it!"

"Very good price. Clean and well maintained furniture.Air conditioner is working perfectly and quiet. Convince location near the casinos, restaurant and lake just 10 minutes away from the hotel. Specialy I love it kitchen. Provide everything I need."

"Clean room, with all facilities like microwave coffee machine and fridge Perfectly located to enjoy various trails around and also to enjoy heavenly village, it was a great night vibe There were 4 hot tubs and a big pool and a fire place right next to it. They also had some resort activities like painting, cookie making, movie mornings and guided trail tours The only thing I didn’t like was the check out time @10 am This gives you less time on the day when you are leaving. Also the valley parking was a bit much because there are several parking garages around the area."

"Checkin was simple enough and the room was nice and basic. Great place for a quick trip, the HVAC was random on its settings and was super hot then cold but we survived. Asked for extra towels to which they were not delivered."

"Our room was in the back of the property. It was quiet with no road noise from the highway. We had the king size room with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. It was very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy. Free parking was a very nice touch for that area. The property was a 10 minute walk to a beach area, 15 minute walk to some trails up in the trees and only a few minutes from the stateline. I have no complaints. Was worth our price."
Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa

"This is an older hotel but it is right on the beach so great access and views. Definitely get a room with the balcony or patio facing the beach. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there at 4:15, we only booked about a half hour before, so we got upgraded to a corner room with a balcony and windows on 2 sides facing the beach. It also had a small kitchen in the upgraded room. The room was clean and the beds softer than most hotels but comfortable. There was a gas stove in the room for heat which we used as the nights get chilly in Sept. The bath with the shower and toilet are small and not updated but like I said this is an older hotel. Everything was clean though and you couldn’t beat the view. I would stay there again."
