"For two days before our arrival, I tried calling the front desk but could never reach anyone. The hotel’s automated AI phone system kept crashing whenever I made a selection, making it practically impossible to get assistance. Check-in was quick and easy. However, despite knowing our departure date, no one warned us before or at check-in that the Atlantic City marathon on Sunday morning would prevent us from retrieving our car and leaving as planned. When we went downstairs and requested our car from valet, we were simply told they would not bring it until the marathon was over. Guests should receive advance notice of any restrictions affecting access to their vehicles so they can plan accordingly. Finding this out only when you are ready to leave is unacceptable. Our room on the 25th floor was clean, but it had a noticeable musty smell. The next morning we called the front desk to have fresh towels and been told “right away” we did get them at 8pm after calling a few more times. The smooth check-in and clean room were positives, but the lack of communication, frustrating phone system, and inability to retrieve our car made this a disappointing stay."

"The whole hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful and addressed every concern we had. Someone we didn’t know knocked on our door around 11:15 pm. We called the front desk and security came right up to our room to check out the situation. It turned out to be someone at the wrong room. The only thing we didn’t like was the size of the rooms and lack of someplace to sit other than the bed(only 1 desk chair in the room). Also note there is no restaurant, snack shop or breakfast in the Hotel. Other than that we had a great stay 😉"

"I never stayed in this Loews Phil before but i stayed in others in Florida and those are very nice this hotel followed suit. We were only there for 1afternoon and night. Its in a city setting and Philadelphia is not such a Nice or safe or clean place. This hotel seemed to be in a Good and reasonably safe place. The hotel Valet parking very expensive per day, $60 but in and out privelages The lobby was not very lighted but seemed Very clean and the staff very nice room ready as Soon as i walked We got there very early. The check in very quick,good people there. ELEVATORS not so good and a little confusing,and Slow. Room was VERY nice clean and big. Great lighting. KING SIZED BED THAT SEEMED HUGE AND IT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. Im a Shower guy, im a big guy, 6’ 255lbs so great huge bathroom great Shower with all soap dispensers for hair and body. This is trivial, but i didnt care for the scents of the Soaps. Three Good options for the water from the shower head and Great water pressure. We spent a couple hours at the lobby bar sitting at the bar drinking old fashions and bay breezes. BAR TENDERS COLIN AFTERNOON AND GABRIEL NIGHT SHIFT EXCELLENT PEOPLE TO HAVE THERE, THEY WERE VERY BUSY AS THEY HAD REGULAR HOTEL GUESTS AND 2 BIG WEDDINGS THERE THEY HANDLED THIS SEAMLESSLY. Very friendly. Remembered my name and addressed me by name all day. Great drinks and reasonably priced especially for what we were drinking. GREAT SPOT IF YOU ARE TRAVELING TO PHILLY"
