Foxstones Cottage is a charming barn conversion on the outskirts of Skipton, resting within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The cottage has one king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping two guests. There is also a ground-floor cloakroom and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining and seating area with woodburning stove. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, as well as a gravelled front garden with patio and seating area. Foxstones Cottage is a characterful property, well-placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Please note: this property can only accept week long stays starting on a Saturday between April and October, if you require any other day please enquire directly with Sykes.
The Neighborhood:
The market town of Skipton is known as the gateway to the Dales, resting on the fringes of the national park. The town offers an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market, held four times a week, occupying the cobbled high street. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton, offering a lovely walking and cycling route.
