"A spotlessly clean, well appointed cottage in a great location. Just returned from a short break in Skipton. Prospect Cottage was a perfect base. Unlike some reviewers, we were fortunate with parking, perhaps a benefit of a small car! We did however walk most of the time, leaving the car at the cottage. The town is a short walk from the cottage, with great views along the way. If you're looking for a base that gives you the benefits of a town, combined with easy access to country walks, or wish to be by the canal, this cottage is perfect."

"We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes. We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient. Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable (Simran) … she was consistently super happy and helpful each day. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed all the places of much interest close by. Don’t miss Skipton Castle, Grassington, Haworth amongst just a few places. We didn’t get to experience the new restaurant but hope to visit again in the future. "

"An excellent good value cottage in a perfect location in Skipton town centre with the added bonus of parking for our car. We used local taxis to and from our son’s wedding nearby."

"Lovely stay in Skipton. Cottage is in a perfect location, just off the High Street. Really good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops to explore. The Woolly Sheep was nice for a drink and delicious food at the Railway. Accommodation was lovely, welcome basket was a nice touch.Only things missing for us was dishcloths for the kitchen and bathroom and squeegee to clean the shower."
