Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back」

「This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay .」

「The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. 「We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. 「ホテル自体は悪くない。鉄道駅からやや離れているが市の中心部からは頻繁に公共バスが出ていて移動には困らない。問題があったのは私が女性従業員にお願いしたことがきちんと行われていなかったこと。2連泊して2日目の朝「今日夕方私が帰ってくるまでに部屋をきれいにしておいて。」、「今日の夕方までに私の出した洗濯物を洗っておいて。」と頼んだのに両方とも行われていなかった。私は一晩着るもののない状態で過ごした。女性従業員の勘違いが原因だった。この件がなかったらホテルが自前でランドリーサービスをやっていること自体は評価できるので総合評価4であげていた。 」
