"This was a great hotel as it was clean, good room size, breakfast was fantastic (lots of Japanese and Western options) and the hot baths is a bonus! The only downside was that we had to take the bus to get to most locations (which I learned after visiting Kyoto this is a common thing for everyone since the train system isn't as elaborate as it is in Tokyo so I still gave it 5 stars). Overall, for the price and value of the hotel we would stay here again! "

"We absolutely loved this hotel. The room size, cleanliness, and amenities were all exceptional. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding customer service and warmth of the staff. One of the receptionists made a memorable effort to communicate with us in one of our native languages—a gesture that felt incredibly welcoming and personal. Moments like these transform a good stay into an unforgettable one. While we didn't have breakfast at the property, there's a convenient coffee shop Sizuya-Shichijo nearby offering delicious options for around 800 yen, which worked perfectly for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking quality accommodations paired with genuinely thoughtful service."
