「Was caught off guard with $10 a night to park in the hotel parking lot ($20 a night for peak season) this was not clear when reservations were made and the couple checking in before us was caught off guard as well, even if you had handicap placard you still had to pay!」

「Love the location, park your car and walk to restaurants and shops. Staff is friendly and the property is beautiful. Can usually see wild horses across the sound. 」

「I stayed here for four nights while I worked in the area. I had a clean room. Location was convenient. I would stay here again and recommend it to other people.」

「I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same...
