The hotel was clean inviting and overall pleasant the room was higher and allowed for a lot of space the people were nice and accommodating. I will stay at these hotels from now on it was that good of an experience!

Great little place to stay, it’s oceanfront and every room has a view. Just plan on using some kind of bug repellent in the evenings when there is no breeze as the flys get really bad l. But other than that I will definitely stay again.

The front desk staff was less than helpful. My bathroom ceiling was full of black mold. Upon telling the front desk, I was told sorry YOU didn’t see it sooner SOMEONE COULD HAVE COME AND CLEANED IT FOR YOU.

It was a nice hotel, however, it could have been a bit cleaner in our room and some of the sand catching rugs could’ve been swept more often. ( and I do get that it is a beach hotel)The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have been staying here for many years and enjoyed our visit every time with not surprises. This time the best listed price was with Expedia but we didn't realize that you had to pay $19.99 per day for parking. We were just there in March and did not have to pay for parking. Will be checking with other hotels to see if they are also charging for parking. Thanks!

All in all our stay was very good at crystal coast inn as our family lives this area. My one and only complaint is at check in they drop a hidden charge of $20 plus tax for parking. This is absurd as nobody has ever charged me for parking on probably 40 stays at multiple hotels in the crystal coast area. Pine knoll shores is a pretty secluded, uncrowded area so a parking charge is ridiculous. This isn't Miami or Washington DC so if you need more money just raise your room prices don't hide parking charges in an area that nobody charges for parking other than beach parking.

Room had dirty shower, handle to balcony falling off, marks on walls. Door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it. Had to pay 20 day to park even though room was 300 a night. Hot tub jets do not work, pool did not get cleaned all weekend. Food was good, drinks overpriced. Could not sit on balcony due to smell of bud several tines a day. Beach is nice, chairs provided. Reserved queen bed, which we have, that bed is a full in the room. Nice town, would not stay at this location

The smoke detector beeped every 30 seconds for hours. I called the desk & no one answered so we tried to sleep through it until we couldn't take it at 1:30 a.m I went to the desk in my pj's & no one was there so I kept waiting & ringing the bell till someone finally came. They gave us a new room at 2 a.m. but we were so wound up we couldn't sleep. We're running on 3 hrs. of sleep today. They couldn't give us a break because we paid through Expedia. They said you could refund at least some of it. Can you?

The hotel was attractive and seemed well maintained. You could tell it was an old property. My daughter and I experienced problems with WiFi connectivity. We were constantly having to go back and sign on. We found it to be annoying when streaming our favorites. Paying for parking was another surprise when checking out. Not a major issue though. Other than that, I would probably visit again & probably recommend.

Enjoyed the oceanfront room. Great to have pool towels and beach chairs supplied. Pretty outside area on the oceanfront. Surprised by lack of a chair or couch and just a bed in the room. They did supply some chairs once asked! Super small bathroom with just a shower and no tub and tight squeeze to close door. Likely the first hotel I have seen without a safe as well. Nicely maintained grounds and helpful staff. Overall enjoyed our stay while hurricane Erin was brewing. Great to get away!

Our room was clean. The ocean front view was wonderful. Hotel furnished beach chairs and umbrellas. I thought charging for parking was ridiculous since there is no where else to park. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was removed at 7am, then you had to pay 3.00for a cup in the restaurant

This was a great place to stay right on the beach. The was sooo comfy and the view is outstanding. It is a little outdated but staff is friendly and so close to the beach. You do have to drive to everything. Great place to stay.

Had to wait 30 minutes after 4pm To get into the room there was no decaffeinated coffee and when I went downstairs to see if the restaurant had decaf they only had regular but. Nice place staff was friendly and the beach is foot steps away and they put out chair and umbrella for you tho some people took two umbrellas and only had two people in their party

I have stayed at this property numerous times over the years starting with when it was The Clam Digger. It was then bought and renovated. The rooms and lobby were upgraded. Chairs and umbrellas were available for a cost of $25 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. The cost was reasonable. This was when the name was The Inn at Pine Knoll Shores. The restaurant was still available. This visit was now under the name of The Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel. Apparently the hotel was acquired about 9 months ago. PROS: Rooms were clean and mostly upgraded. A small coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator w/a tiny freezer was available. It was a balcony front room. Beds were 2 doubles and were comfortable. Bedding was adequate. Clean towels were available at the front desk. There was an ice machine on our floor. There was sodas and water and snacks available on the main floor, although expensive. The pool and hot tub were nice. CON: There is now a parking fee of $19.99 daily. Chairs and umbrellas were first come first serve. They were put out at 9:00. By 9:30 on a nice day they were all taken. There were plenty of lounge chairs available around the pool. They were not able to keep up with clean towels. The tiki bar is a private company separate from the hotel and did not open some days. The restaurant was also a private company separate from the hotel. It was pricy, but the food was very good and the staff was very helpful. Our TV was an old RCA and didn’t work well.

Right on the beach at Atlantic Beach. All rooms have ocean view and balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium.
