「清潔度・快適さなどハード面ではカークウォールでトップクラスのホテルだと思います。朝食なども十分なものでした。唯一残念なのはとにかくフロントに係員がいない。朝昼夜問わず不在が多く、その度、同じ建物内のパブに行って言伝なければならず、待ち時間を含め人的な面でのサービスでスムーズさはありません。ですがその点を除けば価格に見合った設備と内容だと思います。」

「雰囲気は最高です。特にレストランで手前の芝生越しに見える海岸線や、その先に見える対岸の羊たちを見ながらの食事は、他ではそう経験できない貴重なものでした。夕食は熟成ハイランド牛とポークを食べましたが、素材のうまさがよく出てておいしかったですし、地元のウィスキー・タリスカーも景色とマッチして最高でした。一部の口コミでレストランのスタッフに対する不満がありますが、私たちに対するサービスは良かったです。半面、部屋は狭く、非効率な造りで、スーツケースを2つ広げたら座る場所が十分に確保できないほどで、利用に苦心しました。また、部屋でのwifi利用も絶望的に悪いです。ただ、ロビー近くの暖炉の前のソファに座っていても変に干渉されることもなく快適に過ごせたので、部屋にさえいなければすべて快適と開き直る考え方もあるかもしれません。総合的に見れば、それほど素晴らしいホテルです。」

「Very highly recommended. The hotel has had a spruce up since I was last here and she's looking lovely. Very comfy beds and powerful shower with nice products. Great spa. Food and cocktails both delicious. Everyone super friendly and helpful. With local people coming in to use the pool or have a drink at the bar, it feels like part of the town as well rather than just a tourist enclave. We will be back. 」

Rooms show some evidence of age (if you are picky about stuff like that), but it's an old Scottish Castle hotel... You want it to feel like an old Scottish Castle, don't you, and it absolutely does. 」

An absolutely fabulous property with absolutely delicious and delectable food not to mention great drinks at the bar from Edward, who welcomed us with such warm hospitality, and even fed us at very late hour. 「Invernesの郊外にある静かな立地環境のホテル。広くて奇麗で使いやすい部屋で、浴室の設備も新しいものでした。レストランでは、ラムやVenisonのステーキがお勧めです。日本ではなかなか味わえないものだと思います。どちらかといえば、街のパブに繰り出したいタイプの私としては、市街地から離れているのは好ましくないのですが、旅の最後に、落ち着いて休みを取るにはちょうど良いホテルでした。Aberdeen空港までは車で１時間から１時間半でした。」

「部屋は綺麗で良かったのですが、窓から駐車場が見えていて、景色はよくありませんでした。予約する時に正面もしくは裏庭が見える部屋を指定することをお勧めします。朝食もある日は1時間近く待たされました。しかし、庭園はとても素晴らしく、美しいことは間違いありません。夕方にはバグパイプの演奏が聴けました。従業員の方達はとても素晴らしいです。」
