「スカイ島でちょうどよい宿がとれず、やむを得ずおさえたホテルだったが、思いの外快適だったと思う。レンタカーでしか行けない場所。宿泊客は年配が多い印象。一人旅のひとも数名見かけた。スコティッシュブレックファストに満足。朝食以外は用意なしということで事前に度々案内メールあり。」

「I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is very nice, but it's worth noting that they do not accept Amex cards. While there isn’t a supermarket nearby, the hotel offers plenty of complimentary snacks, which was a nice touch. Breakfast typically starts at 8 AM, but when we mentioned that we needed to check out at 8 AM, the hotel staff kindly offered to prepare a packed lunch instead. 「Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. 」

「清潔、部屋は広い、バスタブがある、スタッフが親切、朝食も夕食も美味しい、駐車場あり。 これだけ満足度が高い割に料金も良心的。 もう少しWIFIが速ければ満点クラス。 ブロードフォードの町自体は何もないけど、ポートリーの他のホテルは高い割に質は相当落ちるので車があるならこのホテルを拠点にするのが良いと思う。」

「We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was ideal as a base for sight seeing. We ate our evening meals there while staying and they were excellent. 」

「Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. 「当日は、スカイ島観光後、少し遅く到着の予定で、その旨連絡をしていましたが、あと少しで橋を渡れるかと思っていたところ前方で交通事故があったらしく車の流れが止まってしまい2時間ほど動かなくなり、明るいうちにと思っていたのに到着したのは23時を過ぎてしまいました。片言の英語で状況を説明、宿泊させていただきました。チェックインは22時までになっていたので、もしかすると車中泊りにとも、覚悟していたのでたすかりました。」

「The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too. 」

Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped.
