"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"The gite itself is excellent. Had everything you could need. Very close to main shops 5 min drive away. The mattresses on the two double beds were very hard but realise this is a personnel choice. Would definitely recommend this gite."

"Our group of 4 stayed here during the Normandy part of our France trip and it worked out very nicely. The hosts were very kind and helpful, the place was quite spacious and met our needs very well. It was chilly while we were there, so didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it was available. Groceries and restaurants were a short drive away. Very convenient to all the D-Day locations."

My dream came true to visit Normandy and the Beach my dad landed on in WWII>Omaha Beach The property was a serendipity experience for us as we used it as a base to explore. We rented a car from Bayeux so we had transport, the house had everything we needed for our 14 day stay and any problem(dryer issue) was immediately addressed. "The house was very beautiful and well equipped (a baby chair would be the only possible improvement). The beach is near, but Caen as a larger city is also in reach. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful for finding activities and places to visit in the area (speaks English as well as French!). Definitly a place where we would like to stay again, if we were to return to the region near Caen!"
