"Most importantly want to thank the staff and manager who was out of the way helpful and kind. Room was cleaned, towels brought and water bottles were very handy. Very close walk to the beach and beautiful lobby. "

"If you want a great location with no view of the ocean this could work. Carpet in rooms smelled like mold and strong cleaner, shower still had hair on it, refrigerator was noisy, street noise if your room is facing Kalakaua. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, just a sheet with a thin blanket on top. Just overall dingy, grimly. And by the way, if you have a car, you have to call ahead of time to make sure that you have a parking spot when I arrive. There was no parking available and I had to call to see if there was any parking available at the post office around the corner across the street $56 for one night of parking. I feel like the hotel should pay the difference if they don’t have parking available for their paying guests, the whole thing was just weird and strange."

"Staying at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa was an amazing experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The location was also very convenient and close to everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again with my family!"

"Be sure to carefully check the type of room you are assigned; although the image descriptions state "ocean view," you may be assigned a room with only a "partial ocean view"—yet you are still charged the full rate as if it were a true ocean-view room. Furthermore, if you file a complaint, they will neither issue a refund nor switch your room; they simply claim that the assigned view falls within their internal categorization of an "ocean view." Additionally, they offer a "continental breakfast"—which would typically imply the ability to choose from a variety of dishes—but in reality, there are only a few options available, and they charge extra for any modifications you request."

"Where do I even start…this trip was amazing. I did NOT want to leave, the location , food , & amenities turned out to be very helpful. The hotel is just a few steps a way from the beach, so someone who surfs as much as me was in heaven! If you are thinking about it , do it !"

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was beautiful, clean, and had an incredible beach view. The entire hotel was very well-maintained, and all the amenities made the experience even better. The breakfast menu was delicious with plenty of great options every morning. I also loved that they gave complimentary tickets for free alcoholic drinks — such a nice bonus and definitely worth it! The staff were all so kind, respectful, and helpful throughout my stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The location was also perfect because everything was within walking distance. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway, and I will definitely be coming back again!"
