"The house was clean. Lots of open space. The kitchen was very well equipped. Great place to have a sibling yearly get-together. Hope to do it again next year. It is a beautiful area. The host is very helpful, no problem communicating with her."

"Great value accommodation. Bed linens were crisp and clean, beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. The owners have obviously been replacing major fixtures over time, but some parts of the room were in need of some attention (i.e. paint in the bathroom could use a touch-up). Everything worked the way it should though, so for the price this was perfectly acceptable. It had a heated outdoor pool which is a nice touch and onsite restaurant but we did not use either one just due to the nature of our visit to the area. Given the location, I could see this being a very popular option for people looking for inexpensive, basic but clean accommodation. No complaints."

"The resort was good overall, nice location and the staff made a genuine effort to keep the property clean and maintained. The rooms were clean, but there was a noticeable musty smell that could be improved. Also, the staff at the Shipman Bar were not particularly welcoming or friendly, which took away from the overall experience.."

"Great place very secluded surrounded by nature but still close enough to necessities, Stephan (host) and his place will give unbelievable family /friend vibe , Breakfast simply delicious , You can simply just go there to experience his breakfast , we travel quite often but can’t recall when i have such a breakfast in the morning, We spend 4 days 3 nights, there is so many things to do , hiking swimming snorkeling, boat cruises, , little towns with history and great food , And for U.S . Visitors is just way cheaper then staying on NY state side , and You are literally 6 min on the other side of the boarder, Place just for couples we’ve met some great people, great evenings Highly recommended JS and EW"

"We had a great stay. The location on the river’s edge was amazing. Saw many different species of birds and fish. Shopping and restaurants are about 15-20 minutes away. The layout inside the house allowed for everyone to congregate and find their own personal space when desired. We had two small issues during our stay but the owners responded quickly. The only minus point was the games room. The pool table is not completely flat due to the slate not being even which causes the balls to sometime fly off the table. Also, the hockey game is missing two players, which makes the game unplayable. Overall, however, we would definitely come again. "
