Our stay at Harlem Stonegate B & B was great. It was beautiful and peaceful and the host was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend it. It is out in the "country" but that is why it was so quiet and peaceful. The breakfasts were delicious!!

This place was absolutely wonderful! The building is beautiful with lovely decor. There's a super cute coffee bar, a screened patio, beautiful grounds, and a peaceful space to read and relax by a pond. Our host was great, and we got to enjoy fresh produce from their garden. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love the ambiance of this quiet bed and breakfast retreat. My room and the bed were super comfortable. There are beautiful outdoor spaces including a screened porch, pathways for exploring, a yoga studio, a fire pit, and a delightful garden! I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts the proprietor (amazing chef!) provided each morning! Next level delicious! The surrounding area has something for everyone; hiking trails, antique shops, coffee shops featuring local artists, cycling trails, farmers markets, a marina, vineyards, historical sites, peace and quiet. Whatever your heart desires!

What a beautiful, quaint B&B. My daughter and I felt so at home here, and she actually asked if we could live there. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the host and hostess were wonderful to talk to. So friendly and we're quick to ask if there was anything we needed. Will definitely stay here again sometime, I look forward to seeing what it looks like in the other seasons.

We loved everything about our stay. Lots of attention to little details in restoring this comfortable, historical farmhouse into a great getaway retreat. Facilities for campers, glampers and 3 comfortable, cozy upstairs bedrooms. A great eclectic library (everything from Keith Richards to the original Winnie the Pooh collection!) And ...the "Dutch Baby" breakfast was a real highlight! Thanks!

Quiet and Historic

Harlem Stonegate is a beautiful building, and the renovations make it as comfortable as can be expected, provided that you know what to expect when booking an historic lodging. Naturally, rooms will be small and there won't be modern conveniences such as central AC, elevators, etc. The breakfast here was lovely and the proprietors friendly and accommodating.

Everything was excellent: clean, stylish place in a beautiful land where you can walk around and relax in nature. The host David has a great eye for details and was making sure if stay is smooth and comfortable. Breakfasts are like in a high end restaurant and will satisfy even picky individuals. One thing to pay attention to is that Gardenview and Harlem rooms have access to the bathroom though the common area , not right in the room. It doesn't take much away from the comfort, jut it was a surprise since it was not clear from room descriptions. Other than that everything is great, highly recommend the place.

What a gem! Stayed for an evening with my 10-year-old and the property was quiet and child-friendly. David graciously showed us their vast, serene grounds, introduced us to the neighbour's horses and ponies, and gave us a teaching tour of their plentiful garden. There is a mini fridge to store some small food items if needed, and a library with plenty of books and games. Alicia's breakfast was outstanding, with fresh farm-to-table ingredients. The hosts provided the comfortable countryside stay we were looking for. We will definitely return when time permits.

A Perfect Easter Weekend Getaway at Stonegate B&B Stay Duration: Easter Weekend Location & Accessibility: Stonegate B&B was very easy to find and access, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. Welcome & Hospitality: We received a warm and genuine welcome upon arrival. The owner went above and beyond—providing not only all the necessary information but also taking the time to personally show us around the property and answer all our questions. His knowledge of the surrounding area and local offerings was excellent and added real value to our stay. Room & Comfort: Our room was exactly what we were hoping for—spacious, comfortable, and with a romantic atmosphere. I typically don’t sleep well away from home, but in this case, I slept exceptionally well, which speaks volumes about the comfort and tranquility. Amenities & Cleanliness: Everything was spotless. We especially appreciated the small beverage area, which was thoughtfully stocked. Even when I woke up at 4 a.m., I was able to make tea, and later prepare coffee for my partner when they woke up. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room, with its original farmstead charm, created a warm and inviting ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall Impression: Although it was early spring during our visit, we can easily imagine how beautiful the area must be later in the year. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way.
