Fire hazard. 3rd floor , no balcony, in the event of a fire there is no way out. TVs did not work, kept getting fibe error message. I get that this is an old historical building but the wallpaper was dirty. Bed room had whole in the wall . Old out dated stained carpet. The location was good That’s about it, I will not recommend ,not worth the money, I was very disappointed

One window didn't have blinds which was a privacy concern. The TV seemed to be duplicated on another screen which is also a privacy concern? No garbage can in the bathroom was an issue. Good location, I enjoyed the historic building and good air conditioning. I liked my stay but just wanted to list some concerns that the host could improve upon.

Really cute place to stay. We stayed in the lower unit in the carriage house. It’s in an historic building and there are compromises. There’s no sound insulation with the upper unit. However it was very charming and the price was great. The owner was friendly and helpful.

We originally booked the Cleopatra and Caesar rooms, but due to my mobility issues, we needed to make a change. The host was incredibly accommodating and made the transition seamless for us. We were switched to the Garden Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The suite itself was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was especially well stocked with all the dishes and essentials we needed, which made it easy for us to prepare both dinner and breakfast during our stay. What truly stood out was how responsive and attentive the host was to all of our inquiries. It made the entire experience stress-free and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Booked Suite 35A. Great location, clean roomy suite. Fireplace was great. Price was reasonable. Pictures were not all accurate. Curtain missing on door window which sits right across from the bed, really unacceptable. Bathroom door doesn't close, real privacy issue as toilet is in the way. A privacy screen would help. Access to the shower, which sits right behind the door that doesn't close is also problematic. Can only partially open shower door. Noise from upstairs suite was awful and it was just normal walking around in an old house. Centennial home feel is fantastic but it also feels a little run down. It could use a little love. Would still definitely stay again as long as the Paramour suite (35B) wasn't booked .
