"Our stay was excellent and Shane and Cruise are excellent hosts. The property was exactly as advertised and they went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time. I absolutely recommend! "
"Mom & daughter spent a lovely week at the Sunrise Cottage. It was smaller than we expected but comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped. We could see that the host puts a lot of time and effort into gardening and beautifying the property and we really enjoyed the beautiful flowers all around. The host was very welcoming and helpful and was readily available to help with anything we asked for. The park pass was a real bonus for us. Although we didn't have a chance to mention it to the host, we never did get the fireplace in the living room to work. We were surprised to see the cottage is located on a hilltop overlooking the lake as opposed to being at lake level. The cottage is not ideal for someone with mobility impairment because the parking is a fair distance away. There are also small doorways and it's tight to navigate with mobility aids. As other people have mentioned, there are no coverings on any windows other than the bathroom and the bunk beds do squeak when you move. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily go again."
"It looked like someone has worked very hard to make this old motel a nice place. It’s not posh but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back if I were not just passing through. "
"We stayed at the Riverside retreat for a week. The place was very clean. I appreciated all the small amenities there. Loved the outdoor space as well."
