"Breakfast was better than most. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc… I really wish the hot tub was HOT but didn’t have time to address the issue. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms! Would stay again. Convenient location. Dog friendly, reasonable rate for dogs to stay. Free parking, free internet. Enjoyed our stay! "

"Love the breakfast available, nice cleam rooms and property. Love the convenience to jumping on the hwy to head to Tarleton State in Stephenville when Visiting our daughter at college. When looking to stay there are never many options available in Stephenville so we have made this property our go to and have stayed here a couple times now! "

"We decided to stay here due to reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the king bed was comfy. They offered a variety of pillows which was nice! If they are too thick, one just has to untuck the end and shake it good. Problem solved. NOTE: The only downside was the night clerk , changed us from handicap accessible to a regular room without asking first. I did not want to make a fuss, so we accepted it. I have PSa and a handicap room is such a help to me. One review complained about not being upgraded to a suite. If you want this, then do not book online call the hotel and book directly. Then ask for an upgrade at the desk. Online booking CAN NOT be changed. Someone also complained: Water smelling like sulfur. Yes, it does and NO it is not contaminated. There are no lakes in this area to gather water. This city and others around it run off well water. YES, it is treated and you should smell it before it is treated. Not nice. It is okay to drink and bathe in and no you do not smell like sulfur after a shower, just soap. Speaking of which, they offer a lovely specialty soap to bathe with and Dove shampoo conditioner and lotion. Breakfast was nice and hot! They has a free “Continental” Breakfast, but it is really a full breakfast. Make your own waffles; Belgium and State of Texas. Syrup and butter. Two kinds of cold cereal. Juices. Milk.Eggs and Sausage. Muffins, make your own toast. Yogurt, fresh fruit. Coffee; regular "

"It was a perfect place to stay to visit Dino State Park and spend some time in Glen Rose. The hosts were extremely nice and flexible. He drove by the cabin one evening and gave us some farm fresh eggs! "
