"The breakfast options were limited and unappealing. I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for the night desk concierge to check me in. The parking lot connected to the hotel is small, but there’s covered parking one street over. The hotel definitely needs an update. "

"We had a wonderful relaxing week long vacation, and valley view was our homebase. Loved it all! The view, the property, the owners, the pups, the cabin-all wonderful for our family of 4. So much to do in the area, but dont skip out on a trip down to the river! My kids loved the swings and trampoline and throwing rocks into the river so many wondeful memories made. Glen Rose is full of kind people and lots of history. Hope to return someday. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was delightful and just what we needed! "

"Don’t expect much with breakfast like other chain hotels. The food is meager, no hot food offered during the week, except on the Sunday morning we were there, there was a small tray of scrambled eggs and a small tray of some breakfast patties. Come Monday morning, only cold cereals, few slices of bread, and a few apples and mandarin and it was just a few minutes past 8 a.m. "
