"Greeted very warmly upon arrival, the room itself was spotlessly clean and fairly large with a very modern ensuite. The owner was very kind and personable. We really enjoyed staying here, the property is lovely and well maintained. The location is ideal, very closely located to shops, as well as the beach. The bus stop into the city centre is located right outside the property making it very easily accessible. Would definitely recommend others to stay here, thank you!"

But my husband and I were able to crack the window to let in some cooler air. Also, there was a fan provided in the room."

"This property was ideal for a home base as we drove throughout Scotland. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs and ASDA was nearby for shopping needs. Also, ASDA was a great fuel station for our rental.Also, the property is ideally located for walks to local stores and to the beach. While exploring Edinburgh, we walked to a nearby bus stop and utilized Edinburgh's excellent bus service. The only difficulty was the very limited parking but Patrick had addressed that before we rented so we knew that would be a problem. We worked around it and proved it to be a minor problem.Thank you Patrick for a great place to stay!"

"I arrived very late. The staff were so friendly, and upgraded me from a single to a double room, I think because the single had gone to someone else. The bed was super comfy, I've never slept in a hotel room with such a comfy mattress before. The room was a bit run down, but clean enough. The breakfast was very basic, but good enough, and again the staff were very kind and helpful offering cups of tea or coffee. Very impressed for a two star hotel at the price I paid"
