"Upon arrival we attempted to check in via the self service kiosk. Our room was not ready at 7:30pm, so we went to the service desk. The gentleman who assisted us was not super friendly, just seemed irritated with having to be at work. The elevator situation is horrible, there are three elevators with one operating at any time. We have to stand in a line to take it. Once in our room, it was a beautiful view. The room was okay, not the best cleaning. Candy on the floor and some chips in the paint on most furnishings. The temperature was very nice however. The bathroom lightbulb did not work. It’s a decent place however for the price not so much!"

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are decent sized, very clean with comfortable beds. I only had breakfast 1 morning out of 4, it was pretty uninspiring and it's not hard to find a great breakfast in Manhattan. Location was a selling point, so close to theatre district and some amazing restaurants on 9th. The wifi is just as bad as any other review has cited, basically one step up from dial-up. It took me 12 minutes to download a 25min podcast: for most of my stay I ended up tethering from my phone because I bought a cheap data plan, but there's no need for that. Cleaning staff were efficient but for some reason didn't restock, so the day I left i only had one cup and one coffee pod remaining. I'm sure they would have refilled it if I asked, but really I shouldn't have to."
