This is a view of Lower Manhattan at night, from Jersey City, New Jersey, more specifically from the Lefrak Point Light. One World Trade Center is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. The area around the Lefrak Light is very nice, with parks and well maintained public spaces. To get there from NYC just take the PATH train and get off at Newport Station. #NYC #Travel #Trovember
NYC from NJ. This is the view of downtown New York from the Morris Canal Park in Jersey City, NJ. The park itself is right in the heart of Jersey City about a half mile from the Path Train Station and the NYC Taxi Waterway. It’s a small patch of land in the midst of high rise apartments. While I was there, I could see it’s a popular spot among nearby residents who make it a habit to end their hectic day with their children and pets while taking in the view of the financial district as well as the Colgate clock in the foreground. It’s a peaceful and friendly neighborhood as well as I had the opportunity to strike up conversations with several locals.

This the view of New York City at dawn from Jersey City. The best place I reckon to take a photo of the New York City skyline (from Jersey side) is from the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.

Location is great. Facility is good. The only thing I would ding the stay for is how hard the room doors slam shut. Late night / early morning when guests are coming and going, the slamming of the doors will wake you up.
