Staff was very friendly and always willing to help with whatever we needed whether it was checking us in a little early on arrival day or cleaning our room when we left later in the day or the bottle of champagne on arrival day. "A wonderful hotel in pretty much every way. The only challenges were 1) the steep hill and steps to and from the port, 2) the comfort of the bed and especially the pillows 3) crowded pool area without enough shaded beds (and the scramble to ‘reserve’ them before 8am). We would return, though. It’s beautiful, with great food and drink and helpful staff "
