"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "My husband and I loved our stay. The property is clean, the design is fantastic. There's a sauna on sight but we didn't get a chance to use it. Some hiking trails around the area and beautiful views. The only thing I'd suggest is some type of rubber on doors because they close very loudly and we were woken up both mornings by our neighbors closing their room door. "
