"Fair warning to all travelers, screen shot the instructions to get into the cottage before you leave Pāhoa as the reception is spotty at best. I had to drive all the way back to Pahoa to get the information onto my phone. Cottage is quaint and small but delivers what was Expected. "We loved our time at Reeds Bay Hotel. We got an ocean view which helped to keep it comfortable at night considering there is no air conditioning, as most in Hawaii do not have or use air conditioning. We slept well and the staff were all very warm and welcoming. Banyan Drive is beautiful and places you close to all things you would want to do and see in Hilo."
