「I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. 「We chose this lovely home because it is relatively close to volcanoes NP and Hilo, and because the multiple bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and two teens. 「We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay. 「Cons: no hot water in the shower or house. At all. Ran ONLY the hot water line & never got hot water. Hubby bathed in kitchen sink with water from tea kettle. No privacy. At all. Other houses can be seen clearly from all windows & shower of this house. That deck? It's for anyone to use & anyone on it can look right down into your shower.
