Location was a bit out of town and was either a bus, taxi or a long walk uphill. This was my favorite property in Japan. I would definitely stay longer next time. "

The room was prepared perfectly, and the service was a 10/10. The breakfasts dinners that were prepared were unique and delicious all around. The staff was kind. "Although the hotel building and its facilities are a little bit old, the room is very clean and hotel staff are very friendly. It takes about 15 minutes’ walk from New Shirakawa (Shin Shirakawa) Train Station, or you can catch a taxi at about 1000 Yen. There are several restaurants located within five minutes’ walking distance, however, it is relatively far from downtown Shirakawa and Komine Castle."
